Description

You will be joining a large national financial planning practice where you be based within the Fund Structuring/Product Development area of the group's Investment Management division.

It is a varied support role, focusing on project governance and supportfor fund launch projects and other projects, mainly related to the fund area.


Duties will include:
To provide general and administrative support for both fund launch projects and other projects, as required including

  • Setting up meetings/calls, booking meeting rooms and other facilities as appropriate
  • Identify items for and maintain project plans, action, risk, issues, decisions (RAID) logs
  • Minutetaking of project meetings documenting detailed minutes and actions for formal meetings and more bulletformat notes and actions for less formal meetings; reflecting the meetings in the RAID logs
  • Actively following up on project matters both internally and externally
  • Produce clear and accurate documentation
  • Assisting in production of reports to stakeholders, steering committees etc, as required
  • Working on fund documentation within the project
  • Supporting efforts required for quarterly and adhoc fund board meetings and committee meetings, including
- following up on actions from meetings and matters-arising

  • Coordinating papers for board meetings for supply to funds' company secretary
  • Compiling reports as appropriate
  • Proactively develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and colleagues
  • Prioritise workload to ensure all activities are timely and conducted in a manner that will meet the agreed performance standards.
  • Assisting with any other items, as requested by manager
  • A basic Project Management qualification, desirable
  • Experience of working within highly regulated industries.
  • Experience of working within the fund management or wealth management sectors.
  • Excellent standard of education, ideally degree qualified.
  • A desire to further develop and to undertake training and relevant examinations (if appropriate for role).
However it is essential that you have experience of RAID logs
