Description
Our client is currently seeking a Street Cleansing/Road Sweeper Operative to work in and around Portsmouth, Hampshire.

Duties to include, but are not limited to:

  • Litter picking
  • Street sweeping
  • Collecting bin bags and replacing bags in public areas
  • Working outside and reporting incidents such as fly tipping and damaged bins, lamp posts and street signs
  • A keen eye for detail is required to maintain high standards
The shift currently available are Tuesday to Saturday

You will be required to walk up to and above 5 miles per day for this job.

Good geographical knowledge of Portsmouth City and previous experience would both be an advantage.

Monday to Friday - £9.50 per hour

Saturday - £14.25 per hour

This is for an immediate start on an ongoing contract.


Benefits & Requirements:


  • Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
  • 28 days Paid Annual Leave prorata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
