We are currently looking for a self-motivated and driven Equipment Support Technician / Trouble-Shooter to join a well-established and global leading specialist supplier based in Northampton.

This is a permanent, office-based role, working full time hours,8.30am-5pm Monday - Friday, and paying up to £28K dependant on experience, plus bonus.

The Role:

  • Efficiently answer support phone calls for all equipment and software
  • Provide technical support to customers and go through all troubleshoot options and the first line support procedure
  • Escalate issues further to second line support when required
  • Responsible for sending out loan equipment and spare parts to customers
  • Talking customers through spare parts replacement / repairs over the phone or via video
  • Carry out remote software installs on new equipment
  • Raise technical cases on the CRM system and create quotes
  • Liaise with internal teams on customer / client requests and queries

You:

  • Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
  • Posses solid analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Previous experience providing technical / first line support
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Highly organised with attention to detail
  • Demonstrates professionalism and a positive, cando attitude

The Package:
- £28K salary moving up to £30K after successful probationary period
