Our growing team is on the lookout for a newly qualified Personal Injury Solicitor or Paralegal searching for the next step in their law career. This role would be ideal for a newly qualified 3-year PQE solicitor with good experience in relevant claimant work.

We're a niche legal firm focused on securing swift access to rehabilitation for our clients. We take a holistic approach to client care. The size of the company means we can act quickly in the interest of clients and represent them at inquests and during criminal proceedings.

We're especially interested in hearing from people who would like to build up their experience of complex cases with a meaningful and fulfilling caseload. This is a fantastic chance to work directly with the clients on quality cases such as brain injuries, spinal injuries, fatal cases and pro-bono cases.

If this sounds like you, you'll play a crucial role in assisting clients who have suffered from physical or psychological harm. You'll join a nurturing, experienced and hard-working team of Serious Injury and Clinical Negligence specialists including solicitors, paralegals and secretaries.

    Who we're looking for

    • A highly organised individual with the ability to run their own workload overseen by a senior member of the legal team
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
    • A person with in-depth knowledge of personal injury laws and legal procedures
    • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
    • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
    • Empathetic approach towards clients
    • A good understanding of GDPR and Anti-Money Laundering
    • A motivated individual willing to work with and learn from an experienced specialist team of solicitors

    What you'll do

    • Deal with your own mixed caseload
    • Assess each case with the assistance of a senior member of the team and make a decision whether or not to proceed
    • Interview clients, witnesses, and medical professionals to obtain relevant information and testimonies
    • Analyze complex legal documents, including medical records, police reports, and insurance policies
    • Compassionately communicate with clients
    • Quantify personal injury and clinical negligence claims
    • Negotiate and communicate with third parties such as insurers and other solicitor firms
    • Take part in networking and fundraising for our partner charities

At Alderstone we support a hybrid and flexible approach to working hours. Your time will be split between working from our Manchester office and working from home.

Join our team and make a difference to the lives of those who have experienced life-changing injuries due to serious and catastrophic personal injury. We offer a supportive work environment, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to grow and develop your legal career.
