Description

As Commercial Manager you will lead the commercial aspects of the DIO projects that manifest from the CCS framework from beginning to end.

You will oversee the administering of the contracts.

You will support and mentor the QS's that are working on the DIO projects, and you will be a key member of the framework team.

Responsibilities:
Adherence to our Every Step Safely Health, Safety and Wellbeing inductions, policies, and procedures.
Govern the administering the DIO contracts, support / lead in pre-defined areas.
Support the framework team in managing against the framework principles, ensure the business is compliant on commercial aspects.
You will be a key relationship manager to the CCS Framework team and the DIO client team. Working closely with the client solutions team to build and maintain the relationships and reputation of the business.
Lead on contract negotiations
Take the lead on KPI obtaining and reporting.

Empower and mentor the project teams to deliver strong risk and commercial management of supply chain and the client.

Assessing and effectively Managing Risk on the projects.
Lead on the effective resolution of contractual and commercial disputes
the delivery of timely and accurate Cashflow, Cost to Complete, Risk and CVR reporting.
Attend monthly project reviews.
Work closely with the Head of commercial to embed and expand standard procedures and standards.
Lead on project lessons learnt from a commercial perspective.
Attend and support the project gateway adjudications.
Work closely with all areas of the business, as required to ensure the project / sector success.
Support, as required on DIO tender opportunities.
Support on other DIO / business opportunities from a commercial, lessons learnt, risk, continuous improvement perspective.
Support in educating the business and its supply chain on the DIO specifics. Ensuring that this education mitigates potential foreseen risks.
Understand the product, the specifications, and the detail of the DIO nuances.
Qualifications (Desirable)
~3 years in a similar role or demonstration of achievement of Key Duties and responsibilities
~ RICS desirable
~ Degree or equivalent in Quantity surveying or similar
~ Experience (Essential)
~ Experience in modern methods of construction (MMC)
~ Experience in working with the DIO.
~ Experience in working with the CCS framework.
~ Experience in working as a commercial manager / director.
~ Experience in taking the lead on main contract administration.
