I am currently recruiting for a Data Input Officer to work at my client, a leading public sector organisation based in Sheffield (S1).


Your role will be to manage and co-ordinate the transfer and review of physical data in to an electronic in-house data management system.


Duties of the Data Input Officer will include:

  • Review and transfer of data
  • Receive and interpret technical information from professionals (e.g. Surveyors or Legal Services) and record appropriately within systems
  • Review and develop computerised and paper based systems
  • Review, input, validate, maintain, locate and retrieve data using computerised and manual systems
  • Quality control of data input and storage
  • Lead work to implement new systems
  • Maintain and update current electronic filing records

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Advanced knowledge and experience in developing and manipulating Excel spreadsheets and other computer based systems
  • Experience in a datarelated field
  • Experience and good understanding of data protection
  • Ability to understand and communicate numerical, financial and legal/contractual information
  • High level of numeracy, literacy and attention to detail
**This role is full time, 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with a pay rate of £10.50 per hour.
