About The Role:
Location:
Bourn, Cambridge
Starting ASAP - duration 6 months
Please note this role is full time onsite and requires shift working e.g.
7:30am - 4pm
The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for supporting the management and delivery of all facilities operations, hard and soft services to ensure the efficient and effective running of the site.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
**Assist in the overall management of plant and equipment on the site, including using Q-Pulse to ensure service dates are hit and instructions are kept up to date.
Ensure day to day operational efficiency of all plant and equipment.
Assist in the implementation and monitoring of planned preventative maintenance programmes for the site.
Assist with the implementation and monitoring of weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance programmes.
Ensure that all method statements and safe working practices including Permit to Work and General Rules for Contractors rules are complied with.
Ensure standards of work are maintained and tasks are completed within the given timescales.
Actively encourage an environment that supports teamwork, co-operation and performance excellence within team
Act as a point of contact for security/alarm responding
Ensure that contracted resources deliver work to meet quality targets, addressing and ensuring the correction of under-performance issues.
Ensuring Site Inspections are carried out. Issues highlighted through site inspections or customer complaints are resolved in a timely manner
Overseeing projects as required
HEALTH AND SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the implementation and management of relevant health and safety procedures to the site.
Ensure that all defined services are completed in accordance with all operating procedures, statuary requirements, and within the health and safety guidelines and standards.
About You:
- Outstanding Customer Service building and developing effective relationships with key stakeholders and be comfortable working across all levels.
- Formal trade qualifications Capacity to deal with ambiguity and solve complex problems effectively
- Ability to work in perfect autonomy
- Delivering Health and Safety compliance
- Team player, hard worker, good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports
- Analytical and problemsolving skills
- Ideally previous experience in a facility support role
- Ideally Supervisory experience e.g. contractor management/oversight
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation and policy
- A full valid driving licence
- Fire Warden Training desirable
- Firstaid at work certificate
- Manual handling training desirable
- Ladder and working at height training desirable
