National Gas Transmission (NGT) has an exciting and important role in net zero and in leading a fair energy transition for the UK. We will do this by developing the green gas system of tomorrow, while delivering the natural gas needs of today.
The Security function here at National Gas delivers a holistic security service to the whole of the organisation.


Due to continued growth within the Security functions, we are seeking a Physical Security Advisor whose purpose will be to protect National Gas sites, assets and people from security threats.- You will provide security guidance, direction, and advice to National Gas lines of business to ensure we deter, delay, and detect security threats to our business, and act as the security conduit between operational personnel, wider security teams and external partners.

About You:
  • Proven track record delivering physical security programmes/projects/campaigns
  • Close Protection experience
  • Technical Security knowledge and expertise
  • Acute awareness of Regulatory conditions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
