our client is a leading independent consultancy providing an extensive range of specialist services to organisations around the world involved in marine and offshore technical projects.
The team of engineers, mariners and specialist consultants works closely with energy companies, offshore and marine contractors, underwriters, insurance brokers and many others, to deliver tailor-made project risk mitigation, engineering and incident investigation services.
THE ROLE
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Administrative Team which in addition to providing general administrative support, also covers the finance, IT, HR, QHSE and marketing functions for the Group businesses.
The role will include:
- Call handling
- Act as internal communication relay,
- Supporting the Office Manager with general administrative tasks
- Maintaining cloudbased filing systems
- Scheduling meetings and supporting the Marketing Manager with event planning and organisation
- Assisting consultants with travel arrangements
- Supporting the QHSE manager
- Responsibility for stocks of stationery, PPE, and branded
- Supporting the Marketing Manager with social media presence and activity,
- Liaison with outsourced IT and HR support
- Maintaining and developing Word templates.
THE CANDIDATE
To be successful, you will need to demonstrate the following qualifications, professional expertise, and personal attributes:
- Experience of working in a fast moving, highly flexible and unpredictable industry,
- Experience of providing support and assistance to technical personnel,
- Experience of call handling and dealing with visitors to the business,
- Diary management and planning,
- The enthusiasm, motivation and drive to deliver a topquality service,
- A confident and proactive attitude with strong attention to detail,
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to work under pressure when required, manage, and prioritise their own workload,
- Commercial acumen ability to identify and understand colleagues requirements to provide effective support,
