    As a Battery Validation Engineer at JLR, you will play a crucial role within the Design Validation (DV) team, focusing on the development, functional performance, and durability/reliability sign-off of the Battery Electric Module (BEM) component as part of battery unit program delivery.

    Reporting to the Principal Engineer for validation, you may be allocated to a Module Lead or Technical Lead based on project requirements and team structure.


    Delivery of BEM Component Testing:

    You'll deliver the validation testing for BEM components, ensuring structural durability, electrical and thermal performance, and safety meet our stringent standards.

    Timely delivery and adherence to data quality and delivery standards are paramount.

    Develop Accurate Test Plans:

    Your ability to develop and communicate precise test plans, detailing the timing and specific requirements of test facilities, will be instrumental in ensuring seamless execution of validation activities.

    Your input will be crucial in maintaining the integrity and quality of our validation processes.

    Strong technical background with knowledge of power unit engineering, components, and systems.

    Proficiency in data processing using test and analysis tools such as Canalyzer, INCA, AVL Concerto, FMEA Reliasoft.

    Flexibility to work between JLR sites and external test facilities (UK driving license required).
