    Description

    Bumi Armada UK Limited (BAUK) currently have a permanent staff opportunity for an Integrity Engineer to join the Armada Kraken FPSO onshore support team. The successful candidate will have relevant experience, and will:

    • Support the implementation, development and continuous improvement of Asset Integrity Management Systems (AIMS) documentation including strategies, procedures, performance standards and safety case input.
    • Evaluate and adopt industry best practices to AIMS, taking into consideration the applicable regulations, codes, standards and ensuring Bumi Armada standard compliance.
    • Provide technical advisory to the operations teams onshore and offshore, providing assistance with risk-based decision-making process.
    • Liaise with other disciplines through work development, investigating, advising, and making recommendations based on problems identified during assessments and provide technical input to the operations and maintenance team.
    • Assist with management and development of Risk Based Assessments (RBA) for Risk Based Inspection (RBI) programs with multidiscipline team and provide technical input and asset knowledge during RBA and Written Scheme of Examination (WSE) peer review sessions, fit for purpose assessments and inspection/monitoring regimes.
    • Coordinate development of annual inspection and integrity plans providing optimisations for resourcing and cost planning.
    • Responsible for review and acceptance of inspection and integrity work scopes, with follow up review of inspection/integrity reports, asset surveys in order to assess component condition, identify integrity risks and instigate remedial action for any non-compliance and validate any recommendations.
    • Assist with managing and maintaining the anomaly management system and weekly anomaly management meetings. Provide technical input to assess component condition carrying out risk assessments, define repair recommendations, raise repair orders as required in the Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) system and manage the prioritisation of repair scopes.
    • Provide technical input and advice for repair methodologies in-house and ability to liaise with specialist vendors to review and approve engineering repair plans and manage the documentation close out of integrity repair scopes.
    • Coordinate repair scopes of work within agreed timeframe, ensuring safe, reliable operations.
    • Assist with managing fabric maintenance program – assessing priority through anomaly management system and working closely with the inspection team and fabric maintenance contractor to ensure scopes of work are coordinated and completed in agreed timeframes.
    • Participate in the Management of Change (MOC) process for integrity related projects by providing technical assurance to modifications ensuring safe completion of projects & audit of Quality Assurance (QA) / Quality Control (QC) documentation.
    • Co-ordinate and manage failure investigations with 3rd party contractor and provide technical input to failure investigations and failure mechanism identification.
    • Execute and close out actions assigned to integrity via HSE audits, Independent Competent Person (ICP) verification surveys, class surveys in agreed time-frames.
    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Structural or other related disciplines from a recognised university, or appropriate industry experience
    • Experience in Oil & Gas: Significant
    • Experience in Integrity Operations role: Strong
    • Certification and/ or working knowledge of: API 580/581, API 510, API 570, API 571, API 579, NACE standards, AWS standards, CSWIP/ ASNT NDT Techniques.
    • Working knowledge in key sections of: ASME V III Sec Div. 1/2, ASME IX, ASME V, ASME B31.3, ASME B16.5, ASME PCC-2
    • Knowledge of Classification Rules beneficial but not essential
