The salary is £31,299pa based on a 35hour week


Working out of Leeds, we are looking for people who are passionate about delivering excellent customer service across our network, either on board our fleet of trains or at the station.


You will also be responsible for providing customer information and answering passenger enquiries at the station in the course of your regular duties as well as during special events, disruption and engineering works.

Along with the above you will also be supporting the business with surveys and retrieving CCTV footage from trains.


Working a variety of shift patterns from early morning to late at night, over 7 days a week - flexibility is essential to this role.

Average hours are 35 per week.


You will face many different challenges while working on board the trains or at the stations, which will require you to possess an outgoing, confident personality as well as outstanding customer service skills, an eye for detail and the drive to work hard.


As a customer focused role the focus is to provide a professional service and ensure all our customers receive "Great Service on Great Journeys across Great Britain" every time they travel with us.


  • To be successful in this role you must clearly demonstrate with a covering letter and CV the following skills and experience:
A proven track record of customer service experience

Ability to work various shifts

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

IT Literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office

Ability to write comprehensive and accurate reports fit for presentation as evidence in court

An ability to follow rules and regulations in the workplace

Team work

Able to think on your feet to deal with different situations

An ability to defuse potential conflict situations
