Conrad Consulting is working with a leading interior fit-out contractor who are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Estimator to join our client in Glasgow.

Job Description:
As a Senior Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in the business's success.

You will be responsible for accurately estimating and costing projects, ensuring the delivery of detailed tender submissions and budget costs.

We are looking for a dedicated professional with a proven track record in the construction industry who can contribute to a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and present detailed cost estimates for projects, considering all project requirements and specifications.
Collaborate with the project management team to understand project scopes, objectives, and client expectations.
Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry pricing trends and material costs.
Provide clear and accurate budget costs for projects and assist in value engineering to optimize cost-efficiency.
Work closely with the bid team to develop comprehensive tender submissions.
Analyse project risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential cost overruns.

Participate in pre-construction meetings and liaise with clients and design teams to ensure all requirements are understood and met.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
