The Organisation
The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017.
We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London.
These are Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James's Park, The Regent's Park and Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park and Bushy Park.
We also manage other important public spaces including Brompton Cemetery and Victoria Tower Gardens.Our eight Royal Parks and other iconic green spaces are among the most visited attractions in the UK with 77 million visits every year.
The Hub in The Regent's Park is the largest, most popular outdoor sports facility in central London, having hosted over 10,000 bookings in 2022 alone
We are now looking for a Duty Manager to join us at the Hub on a part-time, flexible basis, typically working eight and fifteen hours per week, including evenings, and weekends.

The Role
As a Duty Officer, you will play a key role in managing sports facilities and bookings at The Hub.
Working as part of a small team responsible for the day to day operations of The Hub, you will deliver outstanding customer service to members of the public using the facilities.
Assisting with our pay-and-play facility, you will also facilitate small sports events and school sports days, ensuring that our facilities and equipment comply with good practice standards.
Additionally, you will:
- Ensure a safe, highquality user experience
- Open and close the Hub
- Oversee the use of the Hub and the sports pitches
- Assist with pitch inspections to ensure safe conditions
About You
To be considered as a Duty Officer, you will need:
- A commitment to exceptional customer service
- IT literacy and basic numeracy skills, with an aptitude to learn how to use a computerbased booking system and information management systems
- The willingness to work unsupervised
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with people of all ages
