YOUR ROLE
We are looking for an Account Director to join our retail team.

The team currently consists of an AD, SAM and AM supported by a SPM and a PM with an additional F/L joining to help us over the coming months.

This role is two-fold:

  • To support the Retail team in delivering marketing toolkits POS, digital, social, and print. This is often the first collateral to be produced when we run integrated campaigns. Currently we have new campaigns every other week, so this is a high volume and fast paced account.
  • Act as the Integrated point person on events ensuring that the work being undertaken across the other channels (online, display and CRM), is in line with the retail work so that we have consistency across all messaging.

Reporting into the AD of the retail team, this is a fast-paced, demanding environment that requires juggling multiple projects on tight timelines.

You will need to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all omnichannel campaigns we run are fully integrated, often joining the clients up, consolidating their feedback, and updating them on the outcome.

Applicants should be enthusiastic, organised, and personable with a keen interest in marketing. You need to be a self-starter who can help identify how we can improve WOW. You will also need to be resilient - the clients often change their mind at the last minute so be prepared for plot twists

At RAPP, we harness the diversity of people, culture and thinking to work together as one.

We foster an environment where differences are respected, where people take pride in unique talents and where individual perspectives are encouraged and celebrated.

An impassioned group of people fully committed to our craft, we believe protecting the diversity of our people means empowering the brilliance of group thinking — and delivers results that stand out.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Daytoday management of projects and campaigns, with an emphasis on working with a PM on ensuring omnichannel campaigns are integrated.
  • Regular communication and liaison with clients at a senior level.
  • The review and approval of local Retailer marketing material as well as material from other client stakeholders from a brand and CI perspective
  • Regular collaboration with other internal UK workstreams as well as Region Europe to ensure we are consistent with national communications and follow any specific campaign guidelines.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong retail, digital marketing, POS, social and print experience
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with other thirdparty agencies to ensure collaboration and achieving client objectives.
  • You will be flexible and adaptable, and have a demonstrable eye for detail.
  • Commercial understanding for the 'bigger picture effect' of creative on results and sales
  • Ability to work on large, fast paced accounts, and be excited to work across big projects with multiple project deliveries.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Collaborative, curious, innovative, adventurous, and ambitious. Personality counts, and we want to see your individuality shine through at interview stage.
