Business Development Manager - Air Freight - £35K - £45K - Birmingham
This Business Development Manager role would suit a talented freight sales professional with a solid grounding in Air Freight operations or Air Freight internal sales looking for a step into external sales.
The Package :
Circa £30K - £45K
Uncapped bonus

The Role:
To develop and maintain effective business relationships with new and existing clients.
To undertake presentations for long-term business, produce and present tenders and quotatons for business.
To offer a high standard of customer service to internal and external customers, by demonstrating a professional, helpful and positive manner.
To build and maintain effective business relationships with overseas correspondents, exchanging information, undertaking joint business and supporting sales visits to and from them in order to develop sales.
Work with Line Managers to promote specific markets and generate business, through a co-ordinated programme of targeted joint calls.
Responsible for current developments in the market and information on competitors.
Responsible for using the sales system to record all required information and for ensuring that all
documentation, records and systems are accurate.
Requirements:
Freight Forwarding sales experience - internal or external
Business 2 Business experience
Air Freight ESSENTIAL
Sea Freight CONSIDERED
Strong Operational background in Air Freight and the desire for sales also considered.
