Systems Accountant - Growing international cleantech business

Based: Central London (hybrid)

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 (dependent on experience) plus benefits and bonus

An exciting opportunity now exists for a qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA to work as a Systems Accountant in this dynamic cleantech business in Central London which has expanded rapidly in the last couple of years and now operates on a truly international basis.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller the Systems Accountant role will include:

\t
• timely and accurate financial reporting to senior management
\t
• develop, maintain and implement systems to facilitate the efficient flow of financial information
\t
• coordinate with IT department for systems issues and improvements
\t
• provide training and support to finance team on the use of Dynamics 365
\t
• provide PMs with relevant information on project financials
\t
• develop a deep understanding of project budgets and client requirements
\t
• variance analysis of actual results against forecast
\t
• provide strategic financial planning advice to other areas of the business
\t
• assist with the year end audit
\t
• ad hoc business partnering

Requirements for this Systems Accountant are as follows:

\t
• a recently qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA
\t
• previous experience in a finance systems role
\t
• Strong systems skills - MUST HAVE EXTENSIVE KNOWLEDGE OF MICROSOFT DYNAMICS 365
\t
• 5-10 years progressive experience in a fast moving environment
\t
• strong technical skills experience of revenue recognition is advantageous but not essential
\t
• excellent presentation and communication skills
\t
• ability to work with professionals from a non finance background
\t
• the desire to succeed in a progressive work environment.
\t
• strong excel skills
\t
• exposure to the utilities / energy / telecoms or infrastructure sectors highly advantageous
