    Job summary

    To join the team, youll need experience of managing a busy office in a service or people-focused environment, maintaining electronic and paper-based records and processing documentation. All round administration skills with a good grasp of Microsoft Office, Spreadsheets and Databases. With excellent organisational and prioritising skills, you should be a relationship-builder with a positive, flexible approach to your work.

    Main duties of the job

    You will be working as part of a team to ensure that enough donor appointments are booked to collect the required blood groups on a daily basis to ensure patient requirements are metYou will provide an outstanding level of customer service as the first point of contact for donors and visitors at the donor centre or via phone or emailYou will be the expert user in a variety of computer based applications, including established software packages ( Microsoft Office) and internal software for which you will be trainedYou will provide a comprehensive administrative service to the donor centre to ensure the overall provision of a high quality and value for money service

  • Educated to NVQ level 3 in Customer Service, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrate commitment to own Continued Professional Development (CPD).
  • Experience

  • Experience of maintaining extensive records in both paper and electronic format in a way that allows others to quickly retrieve information
  • Experience of working and complying with standard procedures and confidential information
  • Experience of working in a high paced, customer focussed environment
  • Knowledge of organising and prioritising a busy and varied workload
  • Good working knowledge of Information Technology, covering a range of Microsoft applications or equivalent packages
