Vision for education are looking to employ a teaching on a full-time basis to work in a local primary school in Cardiff bay.
The role of a teaching assistant is to support the class teacher in helping pupils learn, engage and get the most out of their learning in school.
You will be based in a mainstream primary school, supporting children of all primary ages to access the national curriculum.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a highly regarded primary school and the opportunity to learn from experienced education professionals.
Key Responsibilities of a TA:
Assist the class teacher with daily routines and activities, ensuring a safe and stimulating learning environment
Work with small groups of pupils, offering additional support for reading and writing activities
Support pupils with learning difficulties on a 1:1 basis
Foster the development of social and emotional skills in young learners
Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons and learning resources
Assist with monitoring and recording pupil progress, providing feedback to the class teacher where necessary
Uphold the school's policies and values, ensuring the well-being and safety of all pupils
