    Job Summary:

    The Systems Engineer assumes responsibility for a range of IT functions, encompassing the design, analysis, evaluation, testing, debugging, and implementation of application programs that support the company's infrastructure, business processes, operations, and network-based product systems.

    They possess expert troubleshooting skills for both system software and hardware. Furthermore, strategic planning, conduct, and oversight of the analysis of business problems to develop automated system solutions are among the responsibilities of the Systems Administrator. A dedicated approach to achieving objectives, which may include providing support during off-hours, is a distinguishing characteristic.

    Responsibilities:

  • Performs IT functions, including designing, analyzing, evaluating, testing, debugging, and implementing application programs that support the company's infrastructure, business processes, operations, and network-based product systems.
  • Plans and oversees the analysis of business problems to develop automated system solutions.
  • Identifies pain points and provides recommendations for system architecture stability, operability, portability, security, and scalability.
  • Conducts advanced troubleshooting of system software and hardware issues.
  • Works independently with minimal supervision on daily tickets and tasks.
  • Collaborates with teammates to find productivity solutions.
  • Identifies quality and reliability issues in the systems maintained by the team.
  • Demonstrates willingness and ability to do what it takes to achieve objectives, including performing off-hours support tasks.
  • Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of Windows O365, Azure AD, Exchange, Okta, MDM.
  • Knowledge of productivity software offerings (Okta, Jira, Confluence, Zoom, etc.).
  • Knowledge of public and private cloud computing (on-prem infrastructure, AWS, Azure, etc.).
  • Knowledge of core networking concepts and technologies (i.e., DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, etc.)
  • Understanding of Jira and Confluence administration.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience with at least one scripting language (Python, Powershell, Ansible, Bash, etc).
  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
