Manchester City Council are currently recruiting for Customer Service Officers to work on a full time, temporary basis.


Contract:
Initially until 04/05/2023


Location:
133 Moss Lane, East Hulme, Manchester, M15 5GX


Hours:
Monday - Friday 9am to 6pm. 7 hours per day on a rota basis. Shifts are 9-4:30 or 10:30-6


Key Role Descriptors:


  • The roleholder will be the first point of contact for Manchester residents and customers accessing the Customer Service team.
  • The roleholder will make an assessment of the customer's needs and resolve customer enquiries at the first point of contact where appropriate.

Key Role Accountabilities:


  • Update and extract information from IT systems as required and complete relevant documentation following agreed policies and procedures.
  • Understand and keep up to date with Council policies, relevant legislation and procedures, to ensure advice given to customers is accurate and appropriate.
  • Use a variety of software packages and systems when dealing with customers enquiries, as deemed necessary by Manchester City Council.
