Goodman Masson have partnered with a leading insurance business based in London, as they look for an experienced Group Financial Accountant to join the Group Reporting team to support the delivery of the Group's external financial and regulatory reporting.

The role has been created to provide additional support on delivering BAU IFRS and Solvency II reporting, alongside completing work on the implementation of IFRS 17 and an acquisition.

This is a perfect role for a qualified accountant making your first move from practice to industry, or if you have financial reporting experience in industry and you're looking for exposure into an exciting fast paced group reporting function.

Key responsibilities:

Assist in the production of IFRS financial statements, Solvency II results, regulatory returns and annual reporting
Review consolidations, insurance accounting and investments reporting
Preparing analysis of group external reporting results
Assist with impacts of change as it affects the groups financial reporting process
Collaborative working with other Group functions and divisions across multiple locations.
Development and maintenance of the Group's reporting systems

Skills & Experience required:

Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
Experience of consolidations (preferably under IFRS)
Understanding of the technical aspects of financial and regulatory reporting within a group function
Stakeholder management skills
