Are you ready for an exciting challenge that allows you to combine your passion for gardening with your skills in maintaining a beautiful landscape? Look no further than this incredible opportunity to work as a Grounds Maintenance expert for a stunning 64-acre estate and two remote sites

As the Grounds Maintenance specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the gardens and grounds to the highest possible standards.

You'll work closely with a talented team of professionals to ensure that every inch of the estate looks stunning year-round.

With your green thumb and eye for detail, you'll be in charge of maintaining the grassed areas, trees, shrubs, flower beds, and hedges.

Your creativity will shine as you carefully curate each area to create a cohesive and visually striking landscape.

But that's not all - you'll also have the important task of controlling debris and litter, ensuring that every corner of the estate is immaculate.

You'll be responsible for maintaining the ponds and watercourses, making sure they're in top condition for everyone to enjoy.

Key Responsibilities_**_

Provision of grounds Maintenance:
Maintenance of grassed Areas
Maintenance of trees, shrubs, flower beds and hedges,
Maintenance and control of debris and litter.
Maintenance of ponds and watercourses.
Snow clearing and gritting including use of tractor and trailer spreader
Maintenance and marking of sports pitches.
General maintenance of gardening equipment
Maintenance of all gardens and borders.
General maintenance of fences and gates
Driving of tractor / trailer and mowing equipment
Maintenance of wooded areas including use of chainsaw, hedge trimmers and felling axe
Application and implementation of all relevant legislation, policies and procedures

Professional and personal competencies/qualifications_**_

Any relevant gardening or landscaping qualification will be considered, however the following will convey an advantage
Chain Saw use (CS30.1 and CS30.2)
Tractor driving
Full driving license with provision for driving with trailer attached

Experiences

Minimum of 3 years' experience in horticultural services or large scale garden maintenance
Experience will be considered in lieu of formal qualifications

Skills:

Able to work on own initiative in a highprofile environment
