    Job Summary

    Reporting to the Commercial Manager the MRP Controller will be responsible for coordinating the movement of materials throughout the entire operation and maintaining the integrity of our stock system. You will also be responsible for supporting all departments to investigate, resolve and improve our stock accuracy. You will also support the Production Manager to co-ordinate between departments the planning of the manufacturing schedule to achieve on time delivery.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Check for SAP errors within COGI, investigate error within the system and visually check stock when required to resolve and clear.
    • Collate data on SAP errors and identify solutions to resolve recurring issues by working with department HODs.
    • Support the execution of the production plan by coordinating between departments on the flow of material.
    • Maintain integrity of the SAP system through updating routings, BOMs, packaging instructions, control cycles and work centres etc.
    • Assist production team with SAP related queries.
    • Adjusting and closing orders
    • Support SAP Month end through investigation of production variances, tidy up & lock/unlock SAP.
    • Investigate and resolve material consumption issues and amend material master when required.
    • Repack part used materials at work centres & book to storage racks.
    • SAP accounts administration for new and existing users.
    • Processing scrap information in system when required & repack remaining.
    • Create and refine standard operating procedures for SAP system.
    • Working to corporate financial instructions.
    • Deliver effective training to new and existing SAP users on processes
    • Identify opportunities to maximise existing systems functionality and streamline related business processes.
    • Any other administrative task requested by the Management.

    About the individual

    • Experience of using SAP is essential
    • Ability to problem solve
    • Experience of asset management would be advantageous.
    • Computer literacy skills including Microsoft Word, Excel etc.
    • Good communication and presentation skills.
