A new opportunity has arisen within our Materials Testing and Manufacturing Department, based in Shawbury for a Laboratory Technician who wants to develop their skills within a successful and growing business. As an important member of the team, you will be fully trained to carry out a range of physical tests on a large variety of materials and products, with potential to be involved in small scale polymer product manufacturing

You will be responsible for providing accurate testing data in a timely manner to project leaders. You will also develop engineering solutions. . A methodical approach and the ability to plan, organise and manage your own workload are required.

The successful candidate will have basic science based engineering skills, with understand of quality, together with good written and verbal communication skills. Ideally, you would have some laboratory testing experience in the physical testing of materials. This role is extemely diverse, therefore requires an induvial with the ability to adapt to change.

We require a minim of A-Level/ BTech qualification in a science or engineering related subject and/or the relevant work experience.
