    Overview of the Role:

    Your main tasks will be to effectively support the assistant financial controller prepare our financial and management accounts. Providing key financial data to enable the management team to make decisions. This will include forecasting, budgeting, month end accounts, audit activities and complete balance sheet reconciliations.

    Your Responsibilities as Management Accountant:


    • Prepare monthly operating cost, capital reports and forecast management.


    • Review reports to identify and highlight drivers of performance and reasons for any changes.


    • Support the budget and forecasting process within the business, including modelling, analysis, reporting and submission.


    • Follow established processes to analyse financial information, applying technical experience, precedents and judgment.


    • Assist with the preparation of monthly and year-end accounting and control requirements to complement statutory accounts.


    • Prepare VAT returns.


    • Prepare cash-flow forecasting.


    • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.


    • Provide analytical support to the Finance team, assisting with ad hoc requests to guide decision making.

    About you:

    With a preferred background in the manufacturing industry and CIMA/ACCA part qualified, you'll be ready for this responsible role. You know about accounting principles and management accounts processes, as well as a strong understanding of excel and ideally experience working on SAP.

    Organised and flexible, with a good eye for detail, you can work independently or as part of a team.

    With good communication and collaboration skills, you will be confident, professional and prepared for new challenges.
