About the role Liverpool FC Foundation is offering an exciting opportunity to provide high quality support for our Youth Work Apprentices programme.

The Youth Work coordinator role will support the Foundation vision of provide life-changing opportunities to young people in the most deprived areas of Liverpool by creating and delivering a high-quality youth provision.

The successful applicant will assist in the development of the Youth Work programme and support the professional development of the Youth Works apprentices and provide exceptional delivery across the LFC Foundations programmes.

In addition to working on our Yourh Works programme the post holder will work across numerous LFC Foundation programmes, including but not limited to Youth intervention supporting young people who are at risk and our Inclusion department working with young people and adults with additional needs/diaabilities, Refugees/Asylum seekers and the LGBT+ community.


What will you be doing?

  • Support a team and the professional development of Youth Works apprentices
  • Create and deliver Youth Development programmes that provide life changing opportunities to young people in the most deprived areas of Liverpool.
  • Conduct detached sessions to engage with young people in our communities.
  • Create curriculum and work with external partners and key stakeholders to achieve programme KPIs.
  • Identify and recruit young people, working alongside the Foundation's marketing team and other key partners.
  • Ensure the monitoring and evaluation framework is carried out effectively to ensure data is captured accurately and in line with our reporting procedures.
  • Manage the risk across all programmes to ensure the safety of all young people and staff, following Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Regularly complete the quality assurance procedure to ensure consistent delivery of a worldclass programme.
  • Collate case studies and feedback to quantify the success and validate the programme.
  • Support the Foundation delivery and events.

Why should you apply? This is a full-time one-year fixed term contract role working 35 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days with evening and some weekend work required. This role is based in the Anfield Sports and Community Centre in Liverpool; however, the post holder will be required to work from other locations across Merseyside
