Description

The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust is a combined acute and community Trust serving a population of over 260,000 with over 4,500 staff and income in excess of £250 million.

The Trust has a well-established cohort of ACPs across both the Acute and Community areas.

We have supported the development of this role for more than 15 years and the progress we have made is well recognised both locally and nationally.

There are currently in excess of 80 ACPs both in training and in practice.

We are looking to appoint a Professional Lead Advanced Clinical Practitioner to take strategic leadership responsibility for developing and expanding the ACP programme at the Trust.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing direction and guidance on clinical practice and development for ACPs by ensuring effective clinical supervision, educational supervision, managerial support and associated governance arrangements.

It is envisaged that initially you will be working 22.5 hours per week providing corporate leadership to the ACP workforce and undertake clinical practice for 15 hours per week to ensure ongoing clinical credibility.

If you have a fantastic multi professional team working ethic, great communication and engagement skills and the commitment, energy, motivation and talent needed to deliver an ambitious portfolio, we would love to hear from you.
