    Description

    75 hours over 2 or 3 days (must include Friday) We are looking for an experienced Dietitian to provide clinical leadership for the Nutrition and Dietetic Service as part of a job share arrangement following the flexible retirement of the current post holder.

    The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust Nutrition and Dietetic Service provides Dietetic Care and support for Adult and Paediatric Patients in both acute and community settings and successfully manages the Nutritional Prescribing Service for both Acute and Primary care across Rotherham.

    The successful candidate will have an opportunity to gain leadership experience at a senior level and to represent the trust at local and regional Nutrition and Dietetic forums/meetings.

    The role will also provide the opportunity to work in partnership with leadership colleagues including but not exclusively Senior Management teams within the Community Care Group, Trust, GPs, Consultants, Commissioners, Nursing, referring hospitals, Universities and voluntary agencies.

    The ability to work with these teams and represent Dietetics is essential.
    Can support the Nutrition and Dietetic Service to meet challenging targets and objectives

    Evidence of leadership and management expertise and knowledge acquired through CPD and experience

    Knowledge and understanding of national legislation, guidance and regulatory framework including NSF, NICE, Information Governance, Equality and Diversity, Data Protection, Safe Guarding, Professional and Clinical Guidelines.

    Evidence of developing and utilising systems of performance management

    Evidence of developing and utilising systems of performance management
    Experience of management of resources
    Diploma/Degree in relevant profession (Nutrition & Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, SALT)

    Due to the nature of the role it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across the county and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes.

    Post-graduate qualifications relevant to Dietetic speciality to Masters level or equivalent
    Management/leadership qualification or equivalent
