This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced First Contact Physiotherapist to join a large and innovative practice in Harrow, NorthWest London. Main Duties of the Job
The primary focus of the role is to attend to patients regarding their MSK presentations independently, without prior contact with their GP, to establish a rapid and accurate diagnosis and management plan. Additionally, the role involves contributing to the design of patient MSK pathways, sharing best practices with the primary care team, and leading patient education relevant to physiotherapy and MSK expertise.

Job Title: First Contact Physiotherapist for Primary Care
As a First Contact Physiotherapist (FCP), you are an advanced practitioner specializing in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of MSK conditions. Your role is to see patients with MSK conditions as the first point of contact instead of a GP, via direct booking.
The goal is not to provide physiotherapy treatment in place of community and hospital outpatient services but to relieve GP workload. This includes supporting patient self-management to optimize physical activity, mobility, and independence while minimizing medical interventions.
