Head of Technology

Our client is expanding its operations both in the UK and globally and is looking for a Head of Technology to run and operate the IT delivery capability.

The business has a diverse range of leisure and interactive sport offerings and its current technologyprovision is through an outsourced delivery model.

Increasingly the offerings are becoming more technically complex and require an in house individual to build the next 5 year plan.

Purpose of the role:

Strategic input and review of the technology roadmap.

Drive technical innovation to a customer centric and internal technology operations model

Support the scale and growth of the growth of the business.

Take budgetary responsibility for the technology provision

Ensure cost optimisation on software, infrastructure and support services.

Skills required:

Proven experience of managing IT provision through an outsourced provider or internal team with both infrastructure and bespoke software considerations

Ability to communicate clearly to stakeholders

Someone who is still excited by technology and the latest technologies available in the market

Conversant with a Technology provision that supports IoT (Internet of Things)

Experience of Microsoft Technologies such as Windows, Azure,.Net and C# and VueJS.
