Exeter - with regular travel to surrounding sites
Contract:
Permanent, full time
Salary:
£35k to £40k depending upon experience + company van
Responsibilities
As
Supervisor, you will be working on our National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED) contract, where we work on maintaining the client electricity distribution network across the chosen area and providing power to the local community.
You will play a vital role in managing the team responsible for all stages of excavation works on site and aspects of digging & lay on the electricity networks.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Supporting the Local Agent in the delivery of the daily activities in setting teams to work
- Responsible for a team of Operatives, ensuring they have the required tools and equipment to perform the planned and fault works
- Manage and inspect the plant, as well as order and manage materials
- Plan, manage and coordinate safety audits, incidents and investigations.
- Liaise and communicate with the client, customers, and local authorities

This role of Utilities Supervisor is great for you if:
- You hold experience within the utility sector supervising a team
- Training can be provided for NRSWA qualification / SSSTS at supervisory level, if not already held
- Full Driving Licence
