- Installation of electrical systems on light and heavy recovery vehicles/trucks.
- Execution of electrical fitting, testing, and fault finding on new and used recovery vehicles.
- Fabrication of wiring loom junction boxes and additional equipment.
- Support in hydraulic and mechanical fitting when necessary.
- Ensuring all tasks are completed proficiently and within specified timelines.
- Identification and resolution of electrical malfunctions and issues.
- Maintenance of detailed records on work carried out and materials utilized.
- Collaboration with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Commercial Vehicle Auto Electrician (mandatory).
- Preferably, 3 years' experience in automotive electrics.
- Background in automotive/commercial vehicles, construction plant, truck bodywork, or forklift trucks.
- Confidence in workmanship and ability to work autonomously.
- Proficiency in interpreting electrical diagrams and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective teamwork and clear communication with colleagues.
- Adaptability and readiness to support in hydraulic and mechanical tasks as required.

We are pleased to be collaborating with a well-known and highly successful manufacturer situated in Droitwich. They are currently in need of an Auto Electrician to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
On offer is a competitive salary of up to £35,360 along with a comprehensive benefits package for the selected candidate. The working hours are from Monday to Friday, starting at 7:30am and finishing at 4:00pm.
As an adept Auto Electrician, your main responsibility will involve setting up electrical systems on both light and heavy recovery vehicles/trucks. You will oversee tasks such as electrical fitting, testing, and diagnosing faults on newly constructed recovery vehicles as well as pre-owned trucks. Additionally, you will be involved in the assembly of wiring loom junction boxes and supplementary equipment. There may also be occasions where you will support in hydraulic and mechanical fitting.
Given the nature of this role, it is essential that you can demonstrate prior experience in auto electrical work, especially within the realm of commercial vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in automotive electrics, specifically in the automotive, commercial vehicle, construction plant, truck bodywork, or forklift trucks sectors.
