The Company

We are now looking for a Maintenance Operative to join our team on a permanent, parttime basis, working 16 hours per week including weekends.
The Role
As a Maintenance Operative, you will carry out a range of maintenance tasks across our brandnew property in Sheffield with 95 lettable units.
Ensuring all our residents, guests and contractors receive exceptional customer service and care, you will answer queries, presenting a professional and courteous approach as a face of the business.
You will be a champion for maintaining high standards of site presentation, customer communication and resident safety by managing maintenance and repair activities and proactively engaging with all stakeholders.
Additionally, you will:
Supervise service contractors during their maintenance visits and call outs
Conduct litter picking and refuse disposal
Maintain landscaped areas and courtyards
Manage up to date records and assist with admin

What we're looking for - Experience in all areas of planned and reactive maintenance

Experience managing a preventative maintenance plan
A sound understanding of electrics, plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance.
To be able to deliver against customer needs.
An awareness and understanding of Health and Safety and statutory compliance to ensure our residents can live comfortably in their homes.
