- Review of material approvals
- Review of Inspection & Test Plans against project specifications and industry standards to ensure a consistent high standard of document production.
- Undertake regular site surveillances against work activities to ensure ongoing quality control and quality assurance
- Review completed quality assurance records against project specifications and industry standards to ensure compliance
- Support the project with the ongoing monitoring and management of non-conformances
- Escalate quality risks to the relevant project leads
- Drive and direct a positive quality culture across the project, communicating, supporting and influencing relevant staff.
- Support the Quality Lead in ensuring that quality management processes are established implemented and maintained.
- Ensure a robust inspection, test and self-certification regime is in place and compliance with it is reported to the project management team
- Support the Quality Lead in ensuring that an effective handover and self-certification regime is established and operated from the outset.
- Lead and drive quality improvement initiatives at project level.
- Monitor the document control function
- Feedback project performance to the central quality function
- Network Rail experience, Rail or major project experience is essential
- Internal Auditor preferred
- PCQI preferred
- Have a wide understanding of the industry, including knowledge of materials, trades, methods and legal requirements
- Excellent working knowledge of industry techniques

The role is paying £400 - £450 inside IR35 - 2 year contract
