JOB SUMMARY


The Employee Relations Partner (ERP), a crucial element of the larger people team, is in charge of assisting in the delivery of a professional people service across all directorates and regions.


The position assists all business leaders in developing their people management skills through coaching and guidance to ensure they lead colleagues fairly, legally, and consistently, adhering to policy, best practises, and employment laws.

It does this by providing proactive and timely case management for all business leaders.


JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Develop and implement medium
- to long-term people-related solutions that are in line with company strategy in the areas of Resolutions (conduct and conflict) or Health & Wellbeing (increasing attendance) in close collaboration with executives across all of our operational regions.

  • Possess indepth expertise in employment law, fundamental HR, and employment relations case management experience
  • A background in alternative dispute resolution, particularly in workplace mediation and/or restorative justice
  • Work together within your allocated team, with the least amount of supervision and direction possible, to develop and implement a skilled, groupwide service that is solutionfocused.
  • Share responsibility for creating and modifying targeted activities that fulfil stated objectives with the other specialist on your team.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

  • HR Management Degree or an equivalent certificate at Level 7 of the CIPD
  • MCIPD chartered status
  • Experience with workplace mediation or restorative practises
  • Extensive understanding of employment legislation and best practises to help leaders manage their staff effectively
