    Holden Jones is delighted to be working exclusively with this exciting and successful organisation, market leaders in their sector. They are based within the entertainment industry and have a highly prestigious and impressive client list.
    As a result of relocation and expansion to larger premises, they are now seeking to add an ambitious and commercially minded individual to their existing Finance Team.
    Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for the production of timely and accurate management information for two of the group companies. The role will include:

    • Preparation of monthly management accounts and reports
    • Preparation of job costings
    • Sales Forecasting Analysis
    • Balance Sheet Reconciliation & Analysis
    • Assistance with preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
    • Processing many intercompany transactions
    • Assistance with year-end financials and annual audit
    • Processing of credit cards and staff expenses
    • Processing month-end journals
    • Provide assistance/cover to AP and AR as appropriate.
    • Ad-hoc duties

    As an individual you will be fully qualified (or a finalist with 1-2 papers remaining), with around 10 years' accounting experience and a stable and progressive career to date. You must demonstrate sound technical knowledge and experience of management accounting, preparation of budgets and forecasts, and inter-company transaction and have exposure of working within an entrepreneurial SME environment.
    You will possess strong inter-personal, communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work with colleagues at all levels including non-finance individuals. This is very important as the role engages with all areas of the business, so a confident and all-encompassing attitude is vital. You will have an enquiring approach and be a problem-solver with the ability to prioritise tasks. Excellent Excel skills are important as is good general systems experience. (IFS an advantage).

    This business is relocating from the Teddington area to Weybridge in September 2024 whereupon it will be permanently based. In the interim period the successful candidate would be expected to travel to Teddington. It is a hybrid role after the first month, (3/2), but for the first month you would be expected to be in the office 5 days per week. We are looking for the successful candidate to be available to start June 2024.
