    Purpose of Role:

    The purpose of this role is to drive a One State Street culture and engagement model in the UK and to lead growth initiatives to enable State Street UK to meet its revenue and cost targets

    Main Responsibilities:

    UK Strategy, Business Plans & Product Roadmap

    • Facilitate the development and implementation of business plans for the Investment Services, Global Markets, and Alpha businesses in the UK in line with corporate goals, corporate and regional risk appetite, liability management and capital and liquidity considerations
    • Maintain an understanding of the global, regional and divisional strategies and operating models impacting the UK businesses & work to imbed interests of the UK businesses into these strategies
    • Work with each product area & marketing to develop a UK product and sales strategy & collate a cross-product product roadmap for the UK

    Structured UK Business Development Plan under One State Street Culture

    • Work with Alpha to develop a One State Street Alpha narrative that seamlessly integrates all relevant State Street products into the model (e.g. Global Markets)
    • Support Marketing & PR to develop and execute robust Marketing & PR plans for the UK business
    • Drive and develop a One State Street culture

    Strategic Business Growth Representative for the UK

    • Present UK strategy & product roadmap externally to clients and consultants
    • Support Consultants Relations team by providing relationship management to key consultants for the UK - allowing the consultant relations team to focus on developing new relationships
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders, clients and industry peers
    • Deputise for UK Country Head / UK Leadership Team at internal and external meetings related to strategic business growth matters

    UK Financials Analysis to identify cost and revenue opportunities

    • Analyze the UK financials to determine opportunities for business growth, revenue gaps and potential new to existing opportunities
    • Review cost base to identify areas of savings and efficiencies

    Drive Strategic Business Growth for the UK

    • Assist the implementation of key product initiatives essential to UK Strategy – e.g. Product expansion: CF Global acquisition, UK TA, etc...
    • Review and implement, alongside relevant SMEs and global Strategic Business Growth team, key product innovations / acquisitions that impact the UK

    Skills and Experience -

    • Confident self-starter who can work under pressure, using their own initiative and with the drive to work to aggressive deadlines and to see tasks through to completion
    • Excellent communicator and influencer, able to build relationships with colleagues at all levels from a range of departments, business areas and cultures
    • Ability to drive cross-product collaboration
    • Ability to present STT UK products to clients and prospects as well industry forums
    • Ability to assimilate, translate and communicate business concepts and requirements
    • Ability to navigate multiple stakeholders across different levels of seniority
    • Ability to anticipate challenges and opportunities
    • Experience managing projects
    • Experience developing relationships with clients and consultants
    • Proficiency on Microsoft Office (inc. Excel) and Salesforce
