An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to support the Redbridge Emotional Wellbeing Mental Health Service (EWMHS) team.

Redbridge EWMHS provide assessment and treatment to young people and families experiencing emotional and mental health difficulties. We are a multidisciplinary team composed of psychiatrists, psychologist, nurses, and psychotherapists.


The administrator role will be vital in supporting and running of the service as we welcome new and innovative ideas from the successful applicant.

Experience of mental health services is advantageous, the interpersonal skill to respond compassionately to colleagues and service users and manage sensitive and distressing information is essential.


The role will include receiving phone calls, booking appointments, managing diaries, entering data on the electronic patient record system, and liaising with a range of healthcare professionals and other agencies.

Secretarial support will also be provided to clinicians including typing and taking minutes at meetings.


You will have experience of working as an administrator within a demanding environment, with excellent administrative skills including the ability to use IT systems and databases.


You will be a part of the administrative team which is composed of three administrators (including this post), two medical secretaries, one triage administrator, and the EWMHS Data and Admin Manager.

Probationary Period

Starting with NELFT

NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust.

All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment.

As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes.

The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

High Cost Area Supplement - London

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary pro rata.
