Job summary:


Working in the Cyber team with Robert Tong our Chief Information Security Officer and other Cyber Security professionals, the Associate Officer will play a critical role in a team of technical experts and a team of Digital security professionals who, implement, manage, support the Information Security Management System.

You will be joining our small but highly skilled people, who are committed to making positive change in how Homes England is kept Cyber secure.

Job description:


This is a rare chance to shape the future Cyber security in a fast growing, national organisation with real social purpose.

Working with key stakeholders and a professional Cyber team you will ensure efficient, consistent and effective resolution of Cyber incidents and the have the opportunity to help create a safe and secure working environment.


The role will support the delivery of key Cyber security projects in support of Homes England and Government Cyber controls.

There are always ambitious projects to get involved with and this is an excellent opportunity to balance day to day delivery whilst bringing innovative solutions to the Cyber security operation.


Person specification:


Whilst our day job is to deliver first class customer service to our stakeholders on Cyber security, you will be used to "spinning several plates" at once and will always be looking for ways to improve and innovate.


You'll be comfortable supporting the wider organisation with complex Cyber security issues, aiming to identify, resolve and protect against compromise.

You will be proficient in the concepts of Cyber security and have the passion to constantly learn within an ever changing security landscape.

Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn't always easy.

You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what we do as an Cyber team.

You will enjoy working in an innovative, fun and engaging way and be able to negotiate and persuade.


As an enthusiastic Cyber security professional you'll understand how to manage colleagues and be able to demonstrate you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative, inclusive way.
