Morgan McKinley are delighted to be working with a global high growth business to recruit a Assistant Accountant, based in Watford.

They are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

Role

In this newly created position, you will work closely with the Financial Accountant, supporting with the month end tasks.

Key Responsibilities;
Ownership of fixed and intangible assets

  • Reviewing projects with the Financial Analyst
  • Leading annual asset registers
  • Month end period around stock reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly inventory provisions
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliation
  • Assistant with year end audit
  • Provide cover and support for the financial accountant on an adhoc basis
  • Positive and proactive approach with the ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Strong excel skills proficient in VLOOKUP's, pivot tables and analysing large data
  • Microsoft Dynamics
  • Studying towards a recognised qualification (ACCA/CIMA) or experience within a similar role with AAT qualifications
