Kenneth Brian Associates are assisting in the recruitment for a forward thinking company based in Clapham Junction who are looking to hire a progressive Business Analyst on a permanent basis.

To be considered for the role you will have strong excel skills,knowledge of a reporting tool such as TM1 or Hyperion and will be able to manipulate data.

Main Duties:

Group internal Reporting Analytics, finance KPIs and Performance Management:

Working with the business leaders, CFO and Group Controller build out of the suite of reports and tools to support internal group reporting and analytics
Create the monthly performance packs and optimise production through automation where possible
Oversee monthly production or country and region performance packs
Support the CFO with the production of the monthly corporate board reporting packs
Utilise BI tools to provide insights into business performance through the analysis of data and trends

Group Reporting Systems and Consolidation:

Administrator for the group consolidation tool (TM1 Cognos).
Running the monthly consolidation processes
Migration of the consolidation processes from MS Access into TM
Run the system for month end closing, monthly reporting and budgeting

Group forecasting and budgeting:

Assist in administering the group budgeting process in TM
Maintenance consolidation of the budget packs
Ownership of the production and data, gathering information from the worldwide regions to enable theforecasting process for P&L and cashflow

Finance Function Process Improvement s:

Using skills in VBA, Excel and other databases to support the finance function with ways to improve efficiencies.

Revenue Management:

Once familiar with the data that drives profitability for the Group, work closely with the country commercial teams to support their needs for local reporting analytical support
Help design and then produce supplier spend reports and reporting on supplier incentive schemes
Produce adhoc reports and data analysis to help the teams improve client profitability and transactional margins

Business Partnering:

Business partner with the sales leadership teams in their data needs for sales force performance management
Help build and run client pricing models
Assist in ways to automate and optimise client fee models production
Work with the countries to refine the client profitability model to higher levels of accuracy
Build out a client profitability analysis reports program to help the business improve operating margin
Key finance user for the CRM tool

Project support for the transformation

Support the finance function with key transformation projects as needed
Support with the deployment of Microsoft Dynamics for Finance reporting

About you:

Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of MS Word and MS PowerPoint
Experience with databases such MS Access, or strong desire to learn
Experience with VBA or strong desire to learn
Ideally some experience with consolidation tools or cube reporting tools such as HFM, Esspace, TM
Attention to detail, and able to present information in a clean, accurate and consumable way
Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships
A willingness to learn and develop, and to make a real difference
