Duckmanton Primary School is a modern semi-rural school situated in an old mining village on the edge of Chesterfield. There are approximately 200 children on roll, including a nursery and 2 year old provision.

Due to an increase in pupil numbers and the promotion of an existing member of staff, a position has become available for a Team Leader (Higher Level Teaching Assistant).

The role will involve delivering lessons and supporting children to make progress in their learning.

The role is predominately located in Key Stage 2, however a willingness to teach and support in EYFS and KS1 would be desirable.

You will need to be committed to your own professional development, have a calm manner and a passion and commitment to encouraging children to achieve the best of their ability.

You should be able to work as part of a team and show willingness to adopt a flexible approach to work undertaken.
