Templeton and Partners are on the look for a Senior Analytics Engineer to be part of a community of experts in different capabilities in Information Digital Engineering driving ideas to reality embedding AI in every part of our clients organisation from making their existing businesses more effective and efficient and make them competitive as they accelerate the development of the next generation of clean energy solutions.

Focusing on our clients key Energy Trading business, they need people who can help build knowledge & deep technical expertise in market leading information & data tools, to deliver actionable data driven insights forYour DayThe Senior Analytics Engineer will work closely with their key stakeholders in both business and IT to help narrate stories with data and visualize insights in a compelling and insightful way that enables business decision-making.

As a Senior Analytics engineer you are a subject matter expert, who designs & builds analytics solutions and mentors junior engineers.

You are also the key person to convert the Vison and Data and Analytics Strategies into IT solutions and deliver them.

You will:

build and implement POCs, prototypes and full-fledged UX solutions and strategieswith key stakeholders to drive clarification of requirements and to promote UX designs and solutionsthe design, e.g., by analyzing user journeys and drive towards simplification and automationhigh quality & compelling story telling through creation of strong, simple to understand data visualizationstechnical solution design and strategy documentationquality assessments of counterparts' designand develop other UX analyststo Shell's Release and Change processknowledge enhancementEducational Qualificationdegree in any IT discipline7 years of experience in the IT industryExpected SkillsKnowledge of and experience with design & prototyping toolsExpert knowledge in QlikSense & Qlik Cloud Analytics to deliver complex, fast moving datasets to high value trading teams.

Expert knowledge of authoring/troubleshooting SQL/Azure/Databricks queriesExpert knowledge and application of general and tool specific connectivity, data modeling, source data procurement strategies (Database, import/cached), security configuration, performance tuning, usage of right visuals, layout optimization, mobility, scripting and integrating advanced analytics into visualization toolsKnowledge of upcoming trends in tools and technologyFamiliarity with user-centered design and testing methodologies and usability and accessibility concerns.

Skills to engage technical developers, architects and stake holdersproject management and organizational skillsvery good in taking initiative. Innovative and able to drive junior team membershave experience in working with AGILE, KANBAN methodologies. Able to run a sprint
