Description
At Acorns we provide care and support for life limited or life threatened children and their families.

We are a charity, and our fundraising is vital to enable us to continue providing care and support to the children:
it costs around £10 million a year to run our care services.


We are looking for a Volunteer Business Fundraisers (Collection Tin Volunteers) to help us raise money and awareness for what we do at Acorns.

These volunteers will place and collect charity collection tins across businesses in their local area.


What Does the Role Involve?

  • Identifying businesses who want to support Acorns care by having a collection tin on site
  • Building and maintaining relationships with businesses
  • Replacing collection tins when full
  • Returning full tins back to us

What Skills Do I Need?

  • Excellent people skills
  • Confidence to approach local businesses
  • Good knowledge of your local area
  • Friendly and reliable
  • Need to be aged 18+
  • Able to provide 2 references
