    An opportunity has arisen for a GP Partner/Salaried GP to join our friendly team to replace a retiring partner.

    Our practice is located within Kirkcaldy Health Centre directly across the road from Victoria Hospital, the largest hospital in Fife, and down the road from Kirkcaldy Ambulance Station. We are a short commute from Edinburgh and St. Andrews. Parks, woodland and coastal walks in the town. Picturesque fishing villages of the East Neuk of Fife nearby. Beautiful wildlife including seals. Located near Loch Leven Nature Reserve and Isle of May Nature Reserve, home to a large puffin colony. Ideal location for hill walkers, golfers and nature lovers.

    · 8 sessions available. Happy to consider part-time or job share

    · Option of partnership or salaried post negotiable

    · Well established, high earning, under-graduate teaching practice. Participation in teaching optional

    · EMIS and DOCMAN practice

    · Two x full time GP partners, one x 6 session GP partner, one x 5 session salaried GP, one x ANP, one x Practice Nurse, practice pharmacist, mental health nurse and a very experienced administration team

    · Treatment Room Nurses and phlebotomy shared between the three GP practices within the building

    · Community Nurses and Health Visitors located on site

    · Supported by Care Home ANPs who provide medical services to patients in Care Homes, which reduces GP workload

    · Dispensing community pharmacy attached to the Health Centre

    · Informal daily coffee breaks for clinical discussion and general chat

    · Medical records are fully digitalised

    · Health Board rented premises so no buy-in costs

    · Golden Hello package may be available from local Health Board

    · No Out Of Hours obligations but sessions available

    · Start date negotiable for the right candidate
