    As Document Control Manager / Information Manager you will lead the team delivering all documentation requirements for turnkey HV substation projects for our key customers.

    You will work closely with our delivery teams while working alongside the Technical Lead Engineers, Procurement teams, Installation & Commissioning teams on all aspects of project documentation delivery.

    What You Bring
    Experienced Information Manager or Document Control Manager
    A good understanding of 3rd party Document Management Tools (e.g. Aconex, Sharepoint)
    Formal Project Management training (APM or equivalent)
    Level 3 Coaching Qualification
    SE HPS level Gold (or equivalent)
    SE Mandatory Competency framework programme (or equivalent)
    Experience of Document or Information Management within the Construction Industry
    Knowledge of Project Management (e.g. APM or PMI)
    Quality Management Experience
    Team Management
    About the Team
    Process Owner for the Project Information Function which includes the following:
    The controls and tools for managing bid and tender documentation.
    All management of project correspondence including the transmittal, receipt, and storage of information.
    The coordination of all Contract Document and Data Deliverables that are required for a project. From planning through to completion and archiving.
    The coordination of quality records, technical queries and site snags.

    All processes are up to date, aligned with the business strategy and effectively communicated to all project team members.

    Line Management responsibility including hiring, development and training of the Project Information Management team, which includes:
    Project Officers
    Project Document Controllers (Heaton Office, Romania Hub and Site Based)
    Project Administrators
    The development and production of registers and reports regarding the progress of delivery of project document and data deliverables, on projects


    This typically includes:
    The Contract Deliverable List
    Master Document Register
    Deliverable Lifecycle status.
    The management of the Project folder structure and the administration of Project SharePoint sites
    Keeping up to date with new technologies by attending external & internal courses, self-learning and ensuring skills match evolving
