    Description
    Overview
    • Contribute to identifying in-scope emerging regulatory changes applicable to capital markets.
    • Streamline management reporting to provide a comprehensive summary of RT's Europe region change portfolio
    • Lead business impact and gap analysis between current operating models and new regulatory requirements
    • Identifies and facilitates detailed client and Front Office processes' impacts: client flows and outreach requirements, FO communications, FO product, trade surveillance and business conduct
    • Collaborate with various stakeholders to drive regulatory advocacy and thought leadership efforts locally and on a cross-jurisdictional basis
    • Provide regulatory change subject matter expertise on business change initiatives and remediation where required
    • Drive the creation of Capital Markets Regulatory Target Operating Model including core business and technology capabilities, roles and responsibilities
    • Drive digital and data regulatory solutions and interpretation with a focus on automated controls, data quality and eliminating manual and inconsistent processes around regulatory workflows, and internal business processes
    • Provides leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to team members and impacted stakeholders
      Experience Required

      A university degree

      5 years' demonstrated work experience within business change solutions and/or regulatory change initiatives within a Legal, Compliance, Banking, Asset Management or Fintech environment

      A strong knowledge of Capital Markets financial instruments, including, but not limited to derivative products to cash products

      Understanding of the financial product lifecycle: origination, primary market, secondary market and the associated business activities such as settlement, risk management, operations & accounting

      Strong understanding of UK and EU securities and derivatives regulatory frameworks including, for example, EMIR, MiFID, SFTR and other EU legislation, UK specific deviations from these rules and emerging new UK rules,

      Understanding of market, credit, and operational risk frameworks

      Strong understanding of electronic trading platforms and ecosystem: algorithmic trading, market making, high-frequency trading.
