Allianz Technology provides the worldwide family of Allianz companies with in-house services in the fields of IT Infrastructure, Application Platforms and Business Services.


This role sits within the Technical Delivery area in a Team that supports day to day operation of IT Workplace Services to Allianz UK staff and also the delivery of Centrally driven, Branch driven and Business driven IT initiatives.

This role is specifically aligned to Asset/Stock Control and staff member will be supervised by the Workplace support team lead.


  • Responsible for Asset/Stock Control and leading the work load of the team
  • Acting as a point of contact for Workplace teams requirements for devices and peripherals.
  • Handle IT kit returns in line with local process, updating stock/asset records as required and performing maintenance checks.
  • Perform decommissioning of IT device and peripherals in line with security guidelines and local process.
  • Support collection of Mover/leaver kit in line with HR JML process.
  • Perform regular stock checks, keeping stock/asset records up to date and accurate.
  • Support Procurement Team by supplying the data for monthly Reporting of company's hardware assets.
  • Support any stock level needs for IT Works Service Bar and Onboarding
  • Owning the Laptop build ensuring that devices are building correctly, and any issues are dealt with
  • Ensure Project handover is embedded into the service bar
  • Keep "Gold Stock" and Thin Client stock updated with latest OS, patches and firmware. Includes rebuilding of devices where required.
  • Troubleshoot basic hardware faults and support break/fix requirements by raising calls for 3rd party resolution e.g. Ricoh, DELL
