QC Data Verifier

  • The job holder is responsible for the review and checking of intermediates, API and stability analytical data to ensure compliance with the requirements documented in all associated methods, specifications, company/local procedures, QMS and cGMP standards.
  • It is also responsible for the management and reporting of trends associated with documentation not right first time and laboratory investigations.

In This Role:


  • To independently verify all intermediates, API and stability samples.
  • To ensure that all records and raw data generated throughout are properly documented in line with ALCOA to provide assurance in result generation.
  • To liaise with QC, QA and Commercial to ensure sufficient material is available for onward shipping to customers.
  • To maintain detailed laboratory records to trend and report not right first time documentation to drive continuous improvement.
  • Identify and record deviations from normal practise and ensure any out of trend or atypical results have been acted upon.
  • Ensure procedures associated with data verification are maintained and in alignment with current site/industry expectations.
  • Ensure all documentation generated is completed and archived.
  • To collect data and generate metrics for tracking laboratory investigations which involves preparing PowerPoint presentation for local and site quality council.

Basic Qualifications
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • HNS/DEGREE qualification in appropriate discipline or significant process experience
  • Strong understanding of analytical techniques, computer systems such as Empower, LES, M-ERP, excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Ability to prioritise verification of data to ensure the availability of material for shipping
  • Knowledge and understanding of ALCOA principles
  • Attention to detail
  • Communication and motivation
  • Knowledge of Quality Management systems, Environmental Health and Safety and Operational excellence.

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

  • If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:_
  • BSc Hons in appropriate discipline
  • Experience in the use of laboratory equipment for example Gas Chromatography, highperformance liquid chromatography, IR etc)
  • Experienced laboratory analyst.
  • Strong understanding of analytical techniques, computer systems such as Empower, LES, M-ERP, excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Ability to prioritise verification of data to ensure the availability of material for shipping
  • Knowledge and understanding of ALCOA principles
